For my aunt and uncle's combined birthdays we went to a place called Cody Creek. It's not a town it's an eatin' joint / with a church / huge yard / covered bridge / general store type of place.

Here's the entrance to the general store. Nehi is pronounced like "knee high." When I first saw it I thought it was said like "Neh hee" I thought it was something from India. lol.

My cousins at Cody Creek. Yes, they're always like this. The cars made a thump-thump-boom kind of noise going over.

Saw this little cutie when we went out to eat at the Battle Branch Cafe. Too bad I couldn't take it home. Oh well. It didn't like when I picked it up anyhow.

Photos - 09/04/08

Ranger, with an empty can of catfood. I swear she's part goat. She'll eat anything.

The Bee Tree. Some people have a swimming pool, or maybe a nice big oak with a tire swing in their backyards. Me? I have the Bee Tree. A large cedar tree with a few hundred honey bees living inside it.
In case you're wondering. They've never stung me.

Hey!

I decide what with life and all I'd make a blog. A place where family, friend and I guess whoever happens by can keep up with what's going on... and all that jazz.

Well to begin with I've just moved into the house my grandfather grew up in. It's 79 years old. I have pictures of the remodeling process, which I'll post at some point. I don't know when. Soon, maybe.

I'm going to try to keep this blog active by making it a photoblog of sorts. With as many photos as I take that shouldn't be a problem.
